Hello itchy,

Welcome to the forums. You will find that we are a very helpful bunch. You are joining a great worldwide community.

Now, I suggest that one of the first things you do is to read the forum rules etc. Links to useful sections follow :-

The forum rules may be found here.

The IPad manual is here.

Try these informative threads from which you will learn many tips and shortcuts for the IPad.

Most importantly, enjoy your time with us on the forums.

Then I recommend you use the forum search function to find threads to visit, read and ask questions there. This way, you should get a good response. :)

It may be that the file type you are trying to download is flash. IPads don't support this type of file. My comment is off the top of my head - I haven't checked further.

If you have any further questions or comments please don't be afraid to post.

Thank you, and welcome aboard.

It sounds like they changed something on the site.

Still, make sure your Safari settings say that you Accept Cookies from visited sites, and you don't have private browsing turned on. If you have not done so recently, restarting the iPad would also be a good idea.
