Safari history missing

Hi, I am a new member and very pleased with my IPad 3.

I wonder if anyone else has had this issue with the history on Safari. Initially it was working fine then suddenly no further history bookmarks were being saved. It may have changed after I changed my ICloud settings. There does not seem to be a Settings parameter to turn history on or off.

Did you turn Private Browsing on? That would prevent sites from being added to history.

You can check in Settings/Safari/Private Browsing. Make sure it is set to OFF
