Saving emails

I would like to save email messages on my ipad until I choose to delete them. However, the ipad doesnt save, or display, more than a week to 10 days of messages. I have set it to display 200 messages, which is the maximum. There is no option to download more messages. I am using a POP account.

Does your service provider offer IMAP? If so, you can then have access to all the emails on your server. Even though the iPad cannot display more than 200 emails, IMAP gives you the option to search through every email and the iPad will display the search results and give you access to those emails. It's definitely worth the switch.
