Screen orientation not changing?!

I've tried the switch, which was set as a screen lock but it doesn't help. I changed the switch to act as a mute and it works fine, but the screen is still locked in portrait mode! Additionally, the compass app that I downloaded, and that worked fine before, is almost 180 degrees wrong now.

Has anyone else had this happen before? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks for any help.

Fixed! I went to Apple's support and they called me back. Still not sure what caused it but powering down and back up fixed it. And, I learned how to power my new toy down!

Yes. Got it last Friday (I think.). All seems fine now.
