Search ipad feature doesnt work

Ok so you know that feature that lets you search your iPad for apps or music etc.? Mine doesn't work if you type in anything no results show up..I've tried restarting my iPad but it only let's you search for an app once and then doesn't work again..and sometimes it works fine...its really no big deal but I have a lot of apps so I want to search for it of I can't find it..is there any way to fix this?

In Settings > General > Spotlight Search, are all your categories checked off?

Just checked and all of them have a check mark by them.

Then I suggest restarting your iPad:

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If that doesn't work, reset it.

None of your content or apps will be affected.

I restarted and didn't work..and I reset it and it still doesn't work.
