Sending emails from ireland.com on ipad2

I have just got an ipad2 but I am having problems sending and receiving emails from/to my ireland.com email address? While I can send and receive emails they seem to take a long time to come into my inbox and leave my sent items.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am having similar problem. Set up account on ipad2 but still cannot open my emails. Did you find a solution? Thanks
