SetUp - Cannot bring up SetUp Assist

Trying to set up new iPad 2 and only received a picture of a USB and iTunes. I have turned it off as recommended in another blog without resolution.

Also read about hitting application, etc. However, the only thing that comes up on my screen is the USB pointing to the iTunes icon (in the middle of the screen). There is nothing else on which to tap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to plug it into your computer to set it up, make sure that you download the latest version of iTunes first.
