Shortcut/typing help

Hope you someone can help. I'm sure. I saw a video about the new feature that you can save long words and phrases and use a shortcut to retrieve word. I'm fed up of having tot pye my long email address every single time. Is there way to save this word and paste it when I need it?

Make sure shortcuts is on
Define shortcuts at bottom
