Silver Surfers life extended

Hi Fello members nice to be part of a forum thats devoted to Apple Mac and its powerfull companions. I am a elderly "robot" who has just migrated from the "windows" platform and quite honestly i am finding the learning curve a mite exasperating. My main interests these days is photography (mainly landscapes) and travel, although the high cost of petrol is making me travel less often.
I now own a iMac, iPad2 and a iPhone. All 3 machines are brilliant at what they do although I am finding it difficult getting my new HP Printer to allow iPad to get in touch with each other. maybe some help from your goodselves will be needed.
I have also decided to use the iMac for photo editing and cataloging and use the iPad for surfing and leave my iPhone as a phone. Advices from forum members are welcomed , particularly if photos can be uploaded with my posts.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Hi Fred,

Glad you have that printer working....

Just noticed that you asked about photos being uploaded with a post.....yes it can be done, you can select from a photo you already have in your camera roll or take a photo.

I do this from the app, if you haven't got it as yet, you will find a link for it in my previous post. Once in the thread of your choice and are composing your post, press the tab top right, the Advanced tab. This will load with a few options, 2 of which are From Camera or From Photos. If you already have the photo, select from photos and your camera roll will load, select your photo. Once selected it will begin loading, once loaded just tap it and you will get another option, Insert Inline, tap that and you will be taken back to your post and you will see an attachment which is your photo. Just press Send! Voila!

How lucky are you to be receiving an iphone5....I've just got 1 too and it's brilliant!

Merry Christmas to you and yours! Enjoy!
