Sim Card Query

Good morning forum members. I am new to the world of the iPad but, even though I am 64, I love modern technology.
I have retired and live in Italy. My iPad has a 'Tim' SIM card. This means a lot of the contents I see on the iPad are in
Italian. Not a problem because my wife speaks the language and I have a brilliant translate app. My question is::: If I
Take the iPad to the UK, will I need to change the SIM card???? Hope this is not a stupid question.

No, not a stupid question at all. The sim is not connected to what language is on your iPad. You can set language in Settings - General - International
Yes you will need a new sim for whatever country you are in, although I have heard that some carriers in Europe do cover more than 1 country, so it would be an idea to check with your carrier to see if it does operate in the UK.
