As many of have heard Apple's new iPads, which will make their debut at the October 22nd event, might include the Touch ID sensor we see on the iPhone 5S. Sketchy photos arise from sites CTechCn and 2014 News that show the iPad Mini 2 and iPad 5 with a Touch ID sensor. Now it's not hard to fake photos nowadays, especially of something so simple as a circular home button, but it's also hard to confirm authenticity.

First off the photo of the iPad Mini 2, which shows a golden Touch ID Home button on a white glass display. The ring around the Home button is clearly gold, but if you look closely, you can see that the metal bezel seems to be a different color. Earlier today we also heard reports that the iPads might not even be available in gold and that the color will stay an iPhone 5S exclusive for now.

Other photos show off the iPad "largey" with a Touch ID sensor in Space Grey. Reports in the past have claimed that the sapphire-crystal Touch ID sensors are in high-demand and supplies are limited for use with the iPhone 5S. My guess is that Apple will need to wait until next year, as it has will all of the other "S" model features to add something like Touch ID to the iPad line.
