Solar panels for charging ipad/ipods

Hi,
I recently bought a 12 volt 20watt solar panel for charging various small electrical appliances and want to use it to charge my ipad and ipod. I need to know what to use to successfully connect the solar panel with the ipad/ipod. I have an automotive female 12 volt to connect to the panel.

There are several commercially available automotive male 12 volt iPad charging adaptors available - I saw several in my local Apple Store just the other day. They'd do just fine.
