I'm a long time windows user but was attracted to the ipad 2 due to it's
portability and ease of travel for email, maps and general web surfing.
It does have many limitations not found in real computers but considering
it's size, I'm pleased with it.
My first questions are:
1) Why do they require a credit card for free downloads?
2) Where/how do you save documents?
3) sometimes after I delete an email, it reappears?
4) When forwarding emails, how can I display ALL contacts for selective choice?
I'll have more future questions if you members have patience
for this nubie!

(1) You don't require a credit card for an iTunes account - Apple have details on their website on how to open an iTunes account without a credit card.
(2) Documents are saved in the file space associated with the app that created the document. The iPad filing system is not like Windows. Each app has its own private filespace.
(3) It depends whether you're using POP or IMAP protocol. IMAP is simply a window onto your service provider's email server
(4) I'm sorry but I don't understand this question - perhaps you could elaborate?

Please don't hesitate to start a new thread with your questions.

Tim
