my ipad mini glass broke so I bought a new digitizer. I installed it and the lcd did not work. I bought a new lcd and it worked for 5 minutes. I bought a new one and the sound works siri works but no picture. how do I fix sound and no screen light?

That was exactly what happened to me yesterday, all of a sudden, with no tampering or damage to my iPad. Even the sound was not playing...

Try a reset, even when the screen is blacked out, it solved my problem.

RESET : Press and hold the home and power button simultaneously for about 10-20 seconds until Apple logo appears.

I would also say that in my case, holding only power button did NOT work.

If this doesn't work, most probably, its a problem with the installation of the hardware.
