Speck's PixelSkin HD Wrap

My iPad 2 will not get to me until Apr 28th...grrr, but I'm looking for cases right now. I don't want to waste too much money on cases and want to get the one I'm going to keep the first try. Speck's PixelSkin HD Wrap seems like an ideal choice.

Do you guys have any info on its release date?

My second choice is FitFolio Cover for iPad 2 which will be on sale at Target mid-april but I'm not sure if it'll come in black.

Also, my favorite case for the original iPad was InCase Convertible Magazine Jacket. Do you think it'll be available for the iPad 2?

Speck pixelskin hd is my first choice too.

Try mail to speck to ask them when it will out.

Speck does not have magnets if that is important to you. So the smart feature will not work.

Do you know if these are smart cases? I have a Speck shell on my phone and I love how it looks/feels.

I actually don't want magnets, that's why I'm not getting the smart cover. I don't like the way they seem to slam shut.

Also, I've heard about people's iPads coming on in their backpack due to magnets getting out of alignment.

I recently purchased the black Pixelskin HD Wrap for the iPad 3 (the new one), and it does not fit flush on the top left side of the screen. It just does not want to lay flush against the glass, and is quite annoying. I've heard several other people on YouTube and various iPad forums have the same issue on theirs, and someone mentioned that Speck is aware of this and should have a corrected version out soon. Not sure if that is true, but if it is I would hope they replace ours with this revised one since it seems to be a defect. Besides this issue, I think it's a good case.

I wrote Speck asking about the possible defect and here's their response:

"Hello, speck has a 30 day return for a refund, and speck is not planning on replacing this new I pad pixel skin wrap case design."

Not quite the response I was hoping to get from them.
