Stop LCD Display from Fading/Dimming

Been searching, but I can't find any topics on this.

I have an iPad2 (not Jailbroken). I don't see an option in the settings to control LCD dimming/fading. What if I don't want my screen to fade or dim at all? Is there a control feature? Or do I have to continually touch the screen for it to come to life each time?

I think you have to disable auto lock in Settings > General > Autolock. I am uncertain if it will stop the dimming though.

The iPad won't dim unless it is about to go off. So as killman said change the auto lock to never.
