Stop video when cover is closed

I am looking for someway to close or stop a video when I close the cover. My video is being uploaded/streamed from my home when I'm on the road. If I forget about it the video keeps playing and I'm looking at mega gigabytes of data being used and HUGE isp bill. Any ideas? It is an Ipad 3 jailbroken.

As your iPad3 is jailbroken, I believe you have a better chance of assistance in the iPad Hacking section. I have taken the liberty of moving your started thread there.
