Storing folders in the cloud ?

I am running out of room for putting new folders on my ipad 3.

I wonder if there is a way to move some of my current folders with apps
And/or shortcuts inside to the icloud. I do have icloud setup on this ipad but
Don't know how to move folders to make some room for new ones
On the ipad.

Any help appreciated and apologies if this has been covered before.

There is no way to do this. iCloud does not offer a general file storage area.

All I can suggest is that you delete apps that you don't actually use. If you change your mind later you can go to the Purchased tab in the App Store and download them again for free.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
NOW I see I asked sorta the same question back in April.
Kind of surprised that Apple doesn't let one do this sort of thing.

I suppose it might happen, some day, but I don't things so. At least not until wireless internet gets much much faster.

Having to wait for your apps to download before you can use them each time would be a bit aggravating.
