Strange message notification

I there, I have a strange problem with my iPad forum app on my iPad 2.

Every day, several times a day, I get a notification saying I have received a message from somebody (think the name is Alex the great) but when I go to my messages, nothing, empty.

I am completely baffled as to why this is happening. If anyone has any ideas, I would be most grateful.

Might uninstall the app if I don't find a solution.

That is strange, however, we have had some issues with the IPF app and that the admins are aware and currently addressing it.

For now, turn off your notifications for this app to discontinue getting this response.
