So here's my situation.
Got an iPad 1 16GB Wifi at Christmas 2010. Great, love it (jailbroken - tethered).
Christmas day, it falls to the floor, and hits the power button. The power button is jammed down. I have been using Cydia apps like Activator to work around this, but today, it ran out of charge. So when I plugged it into the wall, It booted.
Then the Apple logo showed up. And stayed.
I can hold the home button, which makes the apple go away for around 3 seconds, before appearing again, and putting it into a cycle of those sorts of things. Plugging it into the PC didn't help either, although I haven't tried opening iTunes yet.
Is there anything that I can do to fix it? At least get it switched back on? My parents are pretty pissed.
Thanks in advanced forums.
