Hi, I have an ipad2 and am having a few problems so I have joined the site which looks great! Can anyone help me with a sound problem? No one can hear me on Skype or Facebook. I have powered down and tried reinstalling Skype, and the mute button is turned off. Any suggestions please?

Hi Suerob--make sure that your mic is not being covered by your cover. Your mic is on top of your ipad when holding it in upright (portrait) position. Make sure that you are close to your device when speaking. Not sure how sensitive the mic can pick up sounds, but be close by.

If that doesn't help-you may want to visit an Apple Store to have it assessed.
