I can not get my pictures or photo's to look normal. They look like xray in colour which is hard to fathom what items look like on eBay. is there something in the settings I have to change, I am a new owner. Can someone please help.?

Hi Susan - welcome to the forum - I'm also a new iPad2 user!

Your may have to provide some more information regarding importation of your 'photos' into the iPad - please provide some more specific steps as to how your photos are being imported into your iPad - :)

Hi Susan. Are you perhaps using the PhotoBooth app instead of the Camera app?

PhotoBooth is a for-fun app with a bunch of filters. Camera is for taking normal pictures.

Photo's and Pictures

Hi thanks for answering but it's not just photo's it is the pictures in safari, ebay etc. Yes i know about the photo booth effects. The photo's were taken on the camera in the i pad so haven't been imported from anywhere.

Weird (even weirder is that I keep saying that today)

If you haven't restarted you iPad recently, you should try that.

Hold down the power button until the power slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down press the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Check things out.

If that did not work try a soft reset. Hold down both the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the power slider if it shows up. The iPad will reboot. This will take a bit longer than a normal start.

Check it out.

If that does not fix it you may want to call Apple Support. They will probably walk you through a restore, which I could do, but if it didn't work you'd probably still have to call Apple, and they would still walk you through a restore. This way you'll be one step closer to getting a new ipad if it turns out to be a hardware problem.
