Sync an iPad on a second Mac - not the original

My Mac died and I bought an iPad while it was being repaired. I originally synced the iPad with a friend's Mac, using his account. Now I have my own Mac back from the shop and can't sync my iPad on it. Help! What do I do - or am I out of luck?

What have you purchased on the iPad applications, music

Downloaded some aps such as Pages, using my own iTunes account

Then no problem make a list of the apps you purchased as you can down load again free

I would reset it back to restore resync on your computer after setting transfer songs up iTunes. Then down load your apps again. Any music purchased on your friends account cannot be synced unless you authorize with his iTunes account and password.
