Sync-d my ipad to her new ipad. Ouch!

We just purchased a new ipad2 for my wife and during the initial sync, we mistakenly selected to download the existing ipad (mine first gen) data down to the new ipad2. we attempted to disconnect but were too late to prevent some material from being downloaded. Is there a way to "start over" so she can have a clean slate? She is not happy with me Any help at this point will be most appreciated! jw

Sure. Go into Settings - General - Reset - Erase all Content and Settings

Then just start over from the beginning, plugging into iTunes
