sync to friend's computer?

I am getting an ipad2 so gave my ipad to my best friend. Her mac os is Tiger, so she can't connect the ipad. Aside from upgrading, what can we do? I'm fine with her connecting to MY computer, if that works.
She has hundreds of contacts on her aol account and would like them on her ipad. Would I be able to connect to my computer, sign in as her, and get those contacts onto her ipad?

Also, I have snow leopard. Would it be legal to sell my leopard disc to her if she indeed has to upgrade?
