Syncing 3.2.2 device with itunes...will it upgrade?

I just got a new pad with 3.2.2.If I sync it with my itunes, will it upgrade the tunes?i.e.-If I do that and then sync my 3.2.1 JB pad,am I stuck with the update?

Dr. Gee,
I have two ipads and one is jb and the other is running 3.2.2 I was able to sync both of them on itune off the same imac with no issues. Hope that helps

can an iDevice force an upgrade to iTunes??? first I have heard of this even being possible...
