Syncing outlook for Mac with iPad2

Greetings from a new Apple convert, based near Nottingham in the UK.
I have Outlook for Mac installed on my new Mac but can't get it to sync contacts and calendar directly to the iPad. Instead, i have to rely on Outlook Calendar syncing to iCal (not reliable) and there doesn't seem to be a process for syncing Outlook Contacts at all, so i have to do a duplicate entry in Mac's Address Book to get it on to my iPad. Any help on this gratefully received!!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I'm not a Mac guy myself so I'll wait for someone from our Mac community to help.

Many thanks. I had seen this, the problem looks like it's with Mobile Me as the Sync Services function is now disabled on my Mac. Looks like I'll drop Mobile Me!
