Syncing the mini with ipad 2

Just got a mini as a gift. Already have the iPad 2. How do I transfer all the apps and related data to the mini that I have on the iPad 2? Thanks.

Back-up your existing iPad 2 to iTunes, making sure you have a successful back-up (it will show you the latest back-up day and time in the dialog on iTunes whilst synced). When setting up the mini, select the option to Restore from Back-up and select said back-up from the list. This will set-up the new mini with all the apps and synced items of the iPad 2.
