Teathering to Sprint Evo

How can I teather my sprint evo to my ipad? I have tried different android teathering progams and can't find any that will work. Thanks for your help.

Try going to marketplace and download an app called " quick settings" after opening it turn on wifi hotspot. I use this with the virgin mobile optimus that is running android 2.2. I am not sure if this works with 2.1. I get decent speeds w the optimus (1mbps). The evo is a much better machine.

Have you rooted you phone yet, if not that is step one.

After that install Wireless Tether

search for "wifi tether for root user" in the market and you will find it.

That's what I use and it works great.

Or pay the $30/mo fee and just turn on the wifi hotspot feature.

Yes the big question is did you root the Evo. The tethering built into CM7 ROM works perfectly with my iPad.
