Test messages stopped to iPad

Text messages have recently stopped coming to my iPad, although they’re still coming to my iPhone. How do I reinstate them to the iPad?

Have you changed any settings on your iPhone or iPad?

No, not intentionally or that I know of.

Go to Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding and make sure the switch is turned on for your iPad. If you use iMessage make sure it is turned on in settings on your iPad.
