Texting from ipad

What do you recommend for texting from iPad to smart phones?

Haven't researched into free SMS apps, but I use Brilliant SMS. Great interface and use, but you must by texting credits. But they aren't expensive unless you spend your life texting.

Perhaps Heywire. It depends on your location though, America is where you ideally want to, to make use of these texting apps.

TextFree for iPad seems pretty good.
