thanks received

I see that thanks received are counted for members. I received a reply for which I wanted to give a countable thanks but I can't fins a button for it. How do I give a countable thanks? search didn;t help.

If you're accessing this forum via computer, use your mouse to hover over the bottom right part of a reply. You'll find a few different possibilities to acknowledge a member's reply.

Pretty much every icon except the red X (disagree) counts as Thanks Recieved. Most people use the Thumbs up for general thanks, the green checkmark if they agree with or want to reinforce a suggestion or statement, informative if they feel the post was especially informative, and funny if ammused.

If you want to be certain it shows up in Thanks Recieved, stick with the like or agree.

The other icons are rarely used, from what I've seen.
