Thinking about going from 5.1.1 to 7.04. Is this a bad idea?

If I upgrade to 7.0.4 will I lose all my layouts of the 4 pages of icons or any of the apps?
i.e. I have Safety P+V, photomgrpro and photovault all with password protected portfolios? Will all these still be the same with the contant after the update?
All apps were all bought through the apple store.

Apps and files should not be affected, but just in case it's recommended that you back up your device on iTunes.
