Tomtom on ipad2

I have an iPad 2 with the tomtom app which I bought for an iPhone originally, but I have got the iPad version, now,
For free. That's the good news. Sadly, it's no use to me at the moment.
Does anybody know how I could pair it to the gps on my android phone (I no longer have an iPhone)? I have not jail broken the iPad because I believe it voids the warranty - doesn't it?
