I decided to replace my iPad Mini 5th Gen with a new 7th Gen model and was quite surprised that Apple quoted £105 trade infor my old one. Returning the old one was easy and I got a refund within a couple of days. Very happy with the whole trade in process. Well done Apple.

I started doing this with my iPhones when I ran out of relatives to pass the old ones down too. I often get $400 to $700 off my brand new phone when turning in a two year old model. Keep in mind I have a habit of buying the Max models, so that's about the top return value you can get.
