Tranfering DVD or Blue Ray movies to my iPad How to?

I have several dvd's and blue ray movies on a disk ( that I purchased ) I'd like to transfer them to my iPad 2, is this even possible?

Dvds yes, go find and install

After you extract the files they can be played on the ipad with vlc or something simular.

Try Handbrake. Search google for site and other sites that explain how it works. Once set up, it is very easy rot use.

Depends on the program, vlc allowed you to drop the files into their 'shared' folder via itunes. Too bad vlc was pulled, I got it before they removed it from itunes.
