How do you transfer pictures from an iPad mini to another iPad mini?

What model(s) of iPad Mini are you using? The original, the iPad Mini 2, or the newest iPad Mini 3? And if it's an earlier version what iOS version are you on? Also, so you need to transfer a few pictures, or a lot.

There are lots of options, but some aren't available on older iPads and IOS versions, and some are only good for transferring a few pictures at a time.

IDK. It's my sister's. She was at WalMart getting assistance developing pictures when an employee let it fall to the floor and it cracked the bottom of the screen on the border. She got it in December. If she gets another one, she will need to transfer a lot of pictures. She has several grand kids. . .so lots of pictures.

Pictures on the Camera Roll should end up in the backup, so that when she restores the new iPad Mini from the old one's backup the pictures will also be restored. But to be on the safe side she should also upload those pictures off the iPad to a computer or cloud service. That way, no matter what happens to the iPad(s), she won't lose all her pictures.

There are lots of choices for cloud storage. I like Flickr. Google has just introduced a new Photos app/service that should work for her as well.

If she have been backing her old iPad up to iCloud, iPad will show the data. Tap on the backup name that she want to transfer from.
