Transfer iPad pictures to a PC?

How do I transfer pictures from my iPad to a PC? How do i specify where on the PC they are to be saved? Thanks.

There are a few ways to get them to your PC.
Here are Apple's instructions:
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

It's also possible to use PhotoStream to sync them to your computer, and to save the images from your PhotoStream to the computer.

What will work as well, is to use online storage (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Flickr, Copy, ...) to sync the photos. You'll be able to access them on your PC and save them to a folder you prefer.
