I got a new iPad and want to give my other one to my boyfriend. How do I transfer ownership?

You can go into settings, general, reset and select "erase all content and settings". This will erase all "non stock" Apps, all data and settings and will de- link it from your iTunes account. Basically as if it were a new iPad just purchased. Your boyfriend can then re set it up with his account and then load whatever apps, data and settings that he wants. Please know, this will delete everything accept "stock" apps.
