Transferring Favourites to iPad bookmarks

Hi I am trying to syn favourites from windows 7 laptop to my new iPad 2 ios 5.01. I have also got the iPhone 4 that i synced my favourites to bookmarks with no problems. How can i get my favourites on to the iPad?

Open iTunes on your PC, go to your iPad under Devices, click Info in the menu at the top, scroll down and check Sync bookmarks. Unfortunately this allows syncing only with Internet Explorer.

If you use the iCloud you can share your bookmarks between devices. I had my ipad2 first and when I got my iPhone, my bookmarks all transferred over without me doing anything, and remain synced.
