Trick ipad2 into US net?

So the Oscars are coming up tomorrow and there's a app for behind the scenes live. But you have to be in the US to watch it. I do have a US iTunes account so I can download it. But I need to be inside the us to watch it.
I tried to search the forum and google, but English is not my first language so it's hard to find the right words to search for.
I was wondering if there's a app for it or a way to do it?

You want to hide your IP address so that the streamer thinks you're in the US. You can do that with a VPN service, but that usually means you must pay for VPN. So it depends on whether you think it's worth it. This thread might help:
