Trouble Updating A Jailbroken Ipad 2

Hi there,

I have an Ipad2 running 5.0.1 and would like to update to 6.0 or 6.1, mainly because some of the apps I use now require this to work (Grr) however, no matter what I try I seem to encounter the 3194 error.

I have tried editing the Hosts file but to no avail as there were no GS.Apple lines in it anyway. I have tried using TinyUmbrella but nothing. Everything just keeps bouncing back to the 3194. This is whether I do it as update or as a restore.

Anyone encounter anything like this before? Or better yet have a fix for it?

You can only go to 7.0.4 now.

If go to 7.0.4, will I lose all of the jail broken apps/hacks or will I just be unable to use Cydia?

If you update to iOS 7.0.4, you will lose all jailbroken apps and any access to Cydia. You will then have to wait for an iOS 7 jailbreak before you regain access to your jailbroken apps and tweaks.
