Trouble with Instagram notifications

I have an iPad 3rd generation and I'm not receiving any push notifications from Instagram. I have the correct settings applied in both the app and my iPad. I have gone over them several several times and still don't receive anything. I tried logging out and logging back in, and even tried deleting the app completely then redownloading but still no luck. I know other ppl with iPads that don't experience this. Any suggestions? Besides the ones I already tried and contacting Instagram themselves. Cuz I've already tried that too and they do not respond. Thx for your help in advance

Hi Louie and welcome to the Forum!

Try a reset of your pad and see if this makes a difference

Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.
