Truncated Playlist

Purchased an ITunes essential pack with songs from different albums. About 20 songs. I just wanted to listen to these songs so tried to create a new playlist and select from the Purchased playlist. The new playlist was truncated and wouldn't accept more than about 8 songs? Tried recreating the playlist a couple of times by adding different songs from the end or the beginning to no avail. Haven't seen this issue with normal albums and single song purchases before. Any ideas? Using 4.3.2 and haven't tried playlist syncing with ITunes as yet.

I can create a playlist with more than 8 songs...

I have other playlists that have hundreds of songs. Just ran into the issue with the ITunes essential pack.
