Retired and spend winter in Merida Mexico, have a stick from Telcel for my labtop and pay a a fee per month, is their a similar plan for using my I pad I have the 3G

Two solutions...if you're not going to use your laptop, why not use the SIM card from the stick? If you purchase a SIM cutter you can cut the regular SIM down to micrSIM size. The SIM cutter comes with an adaptor that enables you to place the cut down SIM back into the stick.

Of course, if you're taking your laptop, then it's easy (if your laptop has WiFi) to make your laptop a WiFi hotspot and then connect the iPad that way.

How do I fInd out to create a wifi hot spot using my laptop that has wifi, is their a you tub showing this how to and what would be my input to you tube to find this.

If you type 'WiFi Windows Hotspot' into Google you'll see all the various links to how to do this; it's easy and you'll see there are instructions for the various versions of Windows.
