UK Buyers: John Lewis and Currys

Well I checked today and they are selling it

However I realised that with Currys (and I think JL) that you can order reserve items online then pick up in store and pay - any chance we will be able to do that with the iPad 2?

I spoke to Currys yesterday, they took my name/number and model I wanted, and said they'd be in contact when it was available.
But they didnt really suggest it was a reservation, or not a guarantee anyway.
But said they go on sale from 5pm, so turn up then.

Today I spoke to people at JL/Currys/Apple they couldn't tell me anything and refused to take my name down etc

I even tried to bribe them and that didn't work!
