Unable to close skype chat on iPad2

I'm using Skype for iPad2 (not iPhone version) and I got problem after I start a chat session with my friend. Now I cannot close the chat window or if I got messages from other contact, i won't be able to see it. If someone call or video call me, I'm still able to answer it as the screen will pop-up automatically. I cannot find any close/Done button in he chat window on Skype version iPad.
Does anyone have the same problem with me? Please advice. Thank you.

It's a known issue. Double-tap the Home button to bring up the multi-task bar. Press and hold any icon in the bar until they all jiggle. Now press the upper left hand corner of the Skype icon to close the app. Then press the Home button again to close the multi-task bar. Then start Skype again and you'll be back to the two window view.
