Unexpected Rotation Lock

Rotation on email only is locked, but all other apps work fine. Not a big deal, but it's upside down when docked, (as it is mostly when checking email).

The rotation lock switch works with other apps, but no effect on email. Worked fine until this moring, no reason, have not synched recently.

Anyone else have this? Solution?

The best way is to quit the Mail app completely. Double-press the Home button to bring up the multi-task bar, then press and hold any icon in the bar until they all start to jiggle, then touch the upper left hand corner of the Mail icon to close (but not delete) Mail. Now touch the Home button again to close the multi-task bar and try again.
