Updated apps not opening

I have two apps I have updated on my iPad 1 and now I can not open them. I have tried uninstalling them and doing hard reboot with no luck! Any ideas how else to trouble shoot these? The games are Zombie Lane and We Farm. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have a suggestion that might work or not. Download a small free app and then try Zombie Lane and We Farm and see if they load/start up.
