My ipad shows I have two up dates for two apps when I tap install or install all I get nothing it goes back to install ? Any ideas I shut down and restarted but no help

I think, but may be wrong, that some updates need the charger attached. Alternatively, it could just be that the servers are slow because of the 8.2 update, etc.

I've been having the same issue this morning, so I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having this problem. So obviously there is a server issue that will hopefully be resolved soon.

This happened to me once, a few days ago. I don't remember exactly how I solved it, but I know it was one of the usual troubleshooting fixes that got my iDevice updating again.

Try force closing the app:
Double tap the Home button to show the multitasking bar, then slide the image above the app icon towards the top of the screen.

If this doesn't help, reset it:
Press and hold Home and Power button until you see the Apple logo. Let go of both. Your iPad will power up on it's own.
This kind of reset doesn't remove data or settings. It might help fix the issue you're experiencing.

I'm here in New Zealand. It's just gone 3.00am. I updated both my iPad and iPhone to the new OS yesterday but now I see I have over 20 Apps on both needing to be Updated. It'd be fantastic if I could set the machines now to get on with it while I sleep so later at work I don't have to see that big red bubble on the Store icon, not to mention make sure all the Apps are running properly... Seems the Updates service is certainly Borked right now!

There's a problem with the iTunes Store currently. It's not possible to make purchases in App Store, iBooks Store, Mac App Store and iTunes Store.
Maybe it also affects updates.
